When applying for US passport card, is it possible to save money if wanting to get a passport book later?
Posted ByI am going to be applying for a US passport card to travel to Canada soon, if I later decide I want a passport to use for International travel, what will the cost be to “upgrade” to a passport book? Any help is appreciated.

Well, since you already have a passport, you may be able to request the passport book by mail instead of in person at the post office. In this case the fee would be $75.00 instead of $100.00. However, the passport site does not directly address this question. It would be best to ask at the passport office at the post office to be sure.
