What’s more important in life; travel or making money?
Posted ByI am torn between what to do with my life. I can either stay here in the U.S., make money, start a stable life, have the wife, the kids, the house, the fat bank account someday, you know live the American dream. Or I can go with my dream of traveling the world living in different countries, learning languages and cultures, making pretty much enough to live on and maybe save a small amount of money on the way. My brain tells me the American dream is the way to go, but my heart tells me to follow my dream.

Money is important but its not the most important i think that you show travel the world you can still have the American dream but who says it has to be in America you will learn so much from traveling and even if you do get a little down on money it’s a chance to experience something new and try to get by without always having a full wallet. You can still have a stable life with a wife and kids you can do that anywhere and anyway you want!

So the question is…should I settle or follow my dream?
Do you have kids or a wife now that you must consider? If not, why not follow your heart and your dreams?
Also, when you meet anyone that is NOT American and came to America to get the “American Dream” they’ll always tell you it wasn’t what they expected. Follow your dreams. Learn, experience, laugh, taste and hear the cultural differences. To me…I will always go for what makes me happy. If you can do it…do it!
The most important thing in life is happiness.

Right now I’m in a daze and traveling the world sounds like the only way to go (at least for me!) Where do you see yourself in a few years? Married? With 3 kids? How about both and in another country? It could happen! Who knows, you may meet the woman of your dreams in another country. If I had the chance to move to another country, I would. I love my family and friends here, but it’s my dream. And if I was able to reach it, I would do it. Everything will fall into place after that. I envy you, do it!
