What is a reasonable weekly budget person for a single person?

I’m curious how much you think is a good food budget for one person.
I go out a few times a week and it is starting to hurt my budget.
I have one friend who goes out virtually every nightl and spends well over $100 a week.
And my brother who spends $15 – $20.
I fall in the middle but would definitely want to learn how to be more frugal.

60 dollars a week for groceries. Don’t eat out unless you have extra money.

You, your friend, and your brother have different finance situation.
All possible answers like , your friend has more income than your brother. or your brother has more income than your friend, but your brother spends the dollars wisely.
Different situations, different life.
But rules of thumb, Stay out of debt, spending less than you make, limit your use of credit card (pay it off every month).
Always saving for rainy day. put 10-15% of your income to 401k, Roth IRA.
