I don't go out for lunch. The coffee keeps me energized and the pretzils make my stomach feel full. People have told me it's not healthy, but you know what? It keeps those $5 for lunch/per day in my savings account. That's $25 per week, that's 1300/year. I also do other things, but that's my most tight-fisted. I live on coffee and pretzils at work.
