how long to improve credit score to 760 or above?
Posted ByMy credit score is 662. I have around $7,000 in credit card debt, which can be paid in 5-6 months. My husband’s car will be paid off in a couple of months. I just purchased an used Audi, which will be our only debt. How long will it take to improve my score to 760 or above in order to buy a house in March?

You credit will improve drastically when the $7000 in credit card bills are paid. Your score will probably raise anywhere from 80 to 100 points. I think you will be fine buying a house. Good luck and God Bless!

Your score will take up to 6 months to improve, a way to increase it faster is to have someone with a better score put you on their line of credit with a card it will make yopur scorer jump 150 points in 3 months. But they must have a high score to take advantage of that. good luck

If you get rid of the credit cards, that will get your score up. How much? Ask your doctor to tell you how much weight you need to lose in order to drop your blood pressure exactly 25 points, or to get your cholestral down exactly 55 points. The 662. The website below will give you as much information and will make you smart on the subject.

We’ve gotten our credit score up from 630 a year ago to 692 now. Getting rid of that credit card debt will be a big help. If you haven’t already, get a copy of your credit report and make sure there isn’t anything else you missed. And why do you want a score above 760? That’s really good, but you could get a mortgage with a lower score. Income, debt, length of credit history are all factors taken into consideration when getting a mortgage. And the down payment. If you have one, your rate will be better. Get pre-approved now and see what you can get.
